Thank you for visiting DirectMed. I am Brenda Lachenmeier, president of DirectMed, Inc.  I got my start in the First-Aid and Safety Industry 17 years ago, operating the van service for a local safety company, providing customer service and products onsite.

In 1997, the local company was bought out by a national safety company, and shortly thereafter, they closed the store in my area.

I enjoyed the First-aid and Safety Industry as a whole and also interacting with customers. Not wanting to change careers and seeing the need for a First-aid and Safety Van Service in our area, I started DirectMed.

DirectMed,  founded in 1998, made its start in the lower level of my home, with one cargo van. Soon after that, we moved to a warehouse/office location and added another van. Three years ago, we moved again to a much larger location where we continue to grow today.
